"Paid in Full" was the theme for this wonderful and blessed Ladies Retreat. It was so good to be able to spend time with the Lord, and with some of my sisters-in-Christ.
Last fall I was blessed enough to have been able to travel with 2 dear friends and sisters to the Southwest Region for their Ladies Retreat. What an amazing experience that was! From the first service to the last the Lord met with us there and filled or hearts with His sweet presence. The theme for the Southwest Ladies Retreat was also "Paid in Full". This theme was so powerful and striking to me. Talking, reading, singing and hearing about how God paid our debt, and how when He paid it, He paid it in FULL was a blessing to me. I am thankful to know that because of the blood of Jesus Christ that He shed on Calvary, not because of anything that I had done for I was a sinner in need of a Savior, yet He paid the debt for my sin fully and completely. Yet not only did He purchase my salvation on that old rugged tree, but He bought my sanctification, my divine healing and The Great Church of God! When Jesus cried "It is finished" He made it complete. The debt was paid and He had finished the work.
An article I found on Google says ".. Found only in the Gospel of John, the Greek word translated “it is finished” istetelestai, an accounting term that means “paid in full.” When Jesus uttered those words, He was declaring the debt owed to His Father was wiped away completely and forever. Not that Jesus wiped away any debt that He owed to the Father; rather, Jesus eliminated the debt owed by mankind—the debt of sin."
How precious it is to know that because the pure and spotless Lamb of God sacrificed Himself, not only for me, but for the whole world, we can be saved from sin and death [spiritual death] and spend eternity with Him in glory. He knew that nothing that I had to give could pay the price, and nothing I could do would ever be good enough. So as the scripture says in Hebrews 9:24-26 "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself."

Paid in full.. because of Jesus Christ! I love the Lord and could never thank Him enough for the price He paid. God is so good!

| This picture was taken soon after we first arrived. I love how pretty the autumn trees look! The weather was nice throughout the retreat. Although it was colder in the mornings and at night, it was still a nice change from the awful heat of summer. |

| Sweet Brittany Muse! I am glad she got to come to Ladies retreat. It was good to be able to talk to her and spend time with her again. She is one of those girls that I makes me want to strive to be more of a godly young lady. I love you, sis! |

| Time alone with God is such a special part on the schedule. Being out in the country, it gives us ladies an opportunity to venture off into the woods and find a place to pray. It's nice not only to get away from every day life for a weekend and get refreshed in my soul, but it is also nice to hide away somewhere that I can spend time with my Savior and King. |
